. Suitable
for straight, profile and bevel cutting of up to 60°, cutting in
all positions, for piercing, for hole cutting, for gouging,
cutting
without run-on cuts, piercing without run-on cuts.
Positive
facts at the technological application
. Small kerfes, minimal material loss, low pollution by Fine Focus
plasma principle with Double-Straight effect.
. Excellent cutting quality at both cutting surfaces.
. No run-on cuts necessary.
. Optional application of water cooled machine or hand torches.
. Pre-selection of plasma gases and plasma gas mixtures
. Ar/H2/N2, Ar/H2, Ar/N2, air and O2 for best cutting quality at
different materials. High-voltage ignition for pilot arc start.
Large variety of application
. Hose bunch lengths up to 25 m possible, for CNC
controlled application with Hf-screening.
. On customer's request special torch models are available -
60° and 90°, short shank, etc.
Low operating costs
. Through a direct and extremely effective water cooling of
the spare parts an up to five times higher life time of nozzles
and
cathodes can be achieved.
. Soft start circuit increases the life time of nozzles and
cathodes
in addition. XL-Life-
Time system for the plasma gas O2.
High labour safety
. High labour safety through shock-proof with safety shut-down
at cutting with hand torches and key-operated switch to avoid
inadmissible starting.
. Control of the plasma gas, the thermal cycle
and the thermal load of the plasma cutting system.
Plasma cutting and plasma gouging - two technologies
with only one machine
. Plasma
gouging for preparation of welding seams, crack and
inclusion removal, cast iron cleaning, surface removal and
more,
preferably with the plasma cutting systems PA-S30 WH,
PA-S40 WH, PA-S25 W and PA-S45 W.
. Kjellberg
plasma torches PB-S25 WH and PB-S45 WH can be
reset from the version for plasma cutting to the application
for
plasma gouging and vice versa in a few seconds.
. There
need to be replaced nozzle and protection cap only.
. With this concept a high availability of the system is guaranteed.
. The hose bunch lengths of the plasma torches come to 6 m or
10 m in series.
. The excellent ignition character of the plasma
arc allows the use of optionalup to 25 m hose bunches
for the plasma torches.
Compared to gouging with carbon electrodes,
a host of
technological advantages result, i.e.:
. no
effected zone of the material.
. no grinding.
. lower heat penetration and therefore lower warpage.
. good observation of the process performance.
. noise level and smoke accumulation reduction.
. Mild steels are favourably treated with air as plasma gas.
For high alloyed steels and aluminium are Ar/H2/N2/ mixtures
to be used.
